How It Works

Homeschool Spelling Day by Day

The first day the parent and student review the three columns of words.
The first column lists the phonic spelling, the second column lists the regular spelling, the third column lists the syllable spelling with the number of letters in each syllable.
Days 2 through 4 the student independently practices the words.
With the paper folded, the student reads the first column with phonetic spelling. The student then writes the words syllable by syllable on his/her spelling workpage.
The students self-check their work immediately by looking at the third column. They write the number of letters in each syllable that were correct on their workpage.
