Classic Literature for Early Readers
2nd to 3rd grade

This selection of classic literature is comprised of abridged editions for early readers in approximately the second to third grade. The short chapters make them ideal for students who have graduated to books with chapters. These shorter, easy versions are also good introductions to the more complicated unabridged versions for older readers who may need help with reading. They can also be read out loud to younger listeners.
