Attached is a free pdf download of a writing rubric you can use to score your student's writing using the 6+1 Traits. It can be used with any Write On or other writing lessons.
Print out the rubric above. After you have read your student's completed writing assignment, score each of the seven traits. It is best to read and re-read their work several times. With each reading you will evaluate only one or two of the traits.
